Implementation of this training program into an academic setting is relatively cost-neutral. Kaiser Permanente's recommended support as part of a proposed partnership with an academic institution includes provision of field work experience; on-site classroom space with necessary equipment; internal content experts as guest lecturers if available; and provision of materials for student and instructor use. Additionally, NLCP provides consultation and technical assistance in supporting successful program implementation.
