In Spring 2004, NLCP held its second Health Care Interpreter Instructor Training (HCIIT) Institute in Oakland , California , to disseminate our Health Care Interpreter Certificate Program nationally. Participants of this Training Institute included several colleges and ten Hablamos Juntos' partnering demonstration sites.

In 2005, we plan on conducting another HCIIT Summer Institute in Oakland , California for our newest partners which include Delta Community College in Stockton , CA ; Perimeter College in Atlanta , GA ; and American River College in Sacramento , CA . This Training Institute is provided free of charge to our partnering educational institutions’ faculty and KP sites’ leadership.  Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses.
